Dr Malek Nassar is an obstetrician Gynecologist who completed his studies in Medicine and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine at Saint Joseph University and Hotel Dieu de France in Beirut.

Experience:

Choosing fetal medicine as a speciality, he completed a 3-year fellowship training in the Department of world-renowned Professor Yves Ville in France.

Aspiring to give the best care to the pregnant woman and their future newborn, and to apply the new recommendations in the field of fetal medicine, Dr Nassar founded in 2008 the Prenatal Diagnostic Clinic.

This clinic was the first specialized center in Materno-Fetal medicine offering level 3 fetal ultrasound, invasive procedures (Amniocentesis and chorionic villous sampling) as well as non-invasive prenatal testing. He established and developed a professional and collaborative work with the majority of obstetricians working in different hospitals, not only Beirut but in different parts of Lebanon.

Dr Nassar also teaches at the USJ Faculty of Medicine and contributes to the training of residents and junior physicians. He also contributes to teaching for the University Diploma of Obstetrical Ultrasound. Member of the Lebanese Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and member in the ISUOG, he regularly is a faculty in local and regional academic activities.

In addition, Dr Nassar has contributed to several publications in international journals and has presented in national and international conferences.
